I think I am going to rip out another project. I started Paloma from the new Kim Hargreaves book in Pure Wool DK. But somehow this yarn choice doesn’t work out. It looks better in a shinier yarn I think.

Also, my tension isn’t right. It’s too loose. So I will have to frog it anyway. Bleh.

I don’t know what it is. Maybe the yarn just isn’t right for this time of year. Everything I start with it bores me.

I don’t feel like starting something else from the Whisper book.

Still also isn’t going well. I finished the back, but my tension again isn’t right. Too tight this time.  I remember changing the needles because I wanted to use the cable for another project. I wonder if I started it on 4,5 instead of the 4 I am using now. I’ve knitted a small part of the front, I will frog it and start again on 4,5. I don’t feel like frogging the back though.

Maybe I’m just a bit bored with my knitting at the moment. I hope it will be over soon.

My package with the Ondine yarn from Louisa Harding arrived. I want to knit this pretty thing with it:

The Ondine yarn is really pretty too and feels nice.

I think this will cure my boredom.

Go for the Lousia Harding pattern and put the others in the naughty corner! Knitting should make you happy! The Ondine does look very pretty.

I started Louisa’s pattern today, and I am having a lot of fun with it. Very nice cables. You are right, sometimes you just need to start something new!
