Ginny

The postman made me very happy this week. My yarn pack for Ginny from Kim Hargreaves arrived. It was such a lovely package, it felt like opening a birthday present. This is how it looked:

Yarn pack Ginny

I think I will love the Felted Tweed, it feels nice and smells nice. And the colour is just as lovely as I hoped (hard to see on a screen). And the buttons are great, horn buttons, a bit irregular, I love them.

I think I will buy more kits from Kim in the future. I am looking forward to knitting Ginny, a great knit for autumn. But I have to finish something before starting this.  I don’t really like having so many WIP’s, (now 4) I never finish anything anymore.

And my lost package with Rowan magazine  46 turned up at last. It is a bit folded, but I am so happy it has arrived. Looking at the photographs instead of the internet I think I won’t knit Cheadle after all. I think it is too bulky for me, too shapeless. But I still find it a very original and interesting design from Marie Wallin. I like Wimpole best at the moment (Sarah Dallas). Also a bit shapeless, but I love the twenties feel of it and the low neckline. And the colourcombination is so georgeous, I want it in exactly the same colours.

So nice, all these packages. And my Precious is on it’s way…
